As a member of the European Society of Contraception, you are kindly invited to attend the General Assembly (GA). of the General Assembly>>> As we can only allow paid up members into the Assembly, we kindly ask you to check your current membership status. If you have not yet paid and you wish to attend the General Assembly, please do so as soon as possible. Your absolute deadline to pay your contribution is 4 May at 16 :30 (at least for those who want to attend the GA). The number of paid up members of your country shall be used as a reference to determine the level of representation in the Board (1 representative for 10 paid-up members, and 2 representatives for 50 or more paid-up members). Full information on the Board elections is available on this website: click on “about ESC”, go to Statutes (art VIII and X) and Rules (art 4). A regular update of the membership status per country is available here as well. All ESC members are entitled to submit motions for inclusion on the agenda of the General Assembly. If you wish to do so please forward your motion to the ESC Central Office no later than 5 April 2006. No proposals or motions can be accepted after that date. Those paid up members not present at the General Assembly can pass their voting right to another member attending the Assembly (one proxy vote only per member attending). Please ask the Central office for the specific form if you need one. |
